Šareni rolat od spanaća / Spinach Roulade with cream cheese and ham

Rolat je veoma lako napraviti i idealan je za predjelo ili večeru…takođe ga možete napraviti i posle Uskrsa, kad imate puno kuvanih jaja i ne znate šta ćete sa svim tim kuvanim jajima.

Rolat od spanaća

Sastojci za rolat:

6 jajeta

300 g blanširanog i samlevenog spanaća

120 g brašna

1 kašičica soli

    Sastoijci za fil:

250 g krem sir

150 g rendane šunke

2 kuvana jajeta

4 čena pasiranog belog luka

2 kašike kisele pavlake ili gustog jogurta

1 kašika seckanog peršuna

100 g rendanog kačkavalja

po ukusu so i sveže samleven biber

   i još:

4 kuvanih jaja

Priprema:

Spanać oprati i blanširati.Preliti sa hladnom vodom i ocediti dobro.Samleti ili sitno iseckati.

Jaja, sobne temperature,odvojiti i umutiti belanac posebno sa prstihvatom soli.

Žumanca umutiti sa kašičicom soli ( ili po vašem ukusu ) dodavati brašno po malo i kad se brašno sjedinilo sa žumancima dodati samleven spanać i sjediniti sve zajedno sa brašnom i žumancima. Na kraju dodati čvrsto umućena belanca i varjačom, ili spatulom, sjediniti sa prethodnom smesom od spanaća.

Podmazati pleh veličine 23cm X 42cm ili sličnih veličina ili prekriti sa pek papirom, isipati smesu i poravnjati.

Peći u prethodno zagrejanoj rerni na 180*C oko 10 do 12 minuta.

Ispečeni rolat prevrnutu na kuhinjsku krpu i zaviti u rolat i ostaviti da se potpuno ohladi.

Dok se rolat hladi, skuvati jaja ( količina jaja zavisi od rolata, meni je bilo potrebno 6 kuvanih jaja, dva za fil i 4 za rolat )…. ja sam ih kuvala na ovaj način.Stavila sam ih u šerpu sa hladnom vodom i kašičicom soli i pustila da provri, kad je provrelo sklonila sam ih sa ringle i ostavila poklopljeno 20 minuta ( obično ih držim 15 minuta jer volim da mi je žumanac mekan, ovog puta mi je bilo potrebno da je žumance tvrđe kuvano ),isipati toplu vodu i pustiti hladnu vodu da teče preko njih.Kad sa ohlađena, oljuštiti ih.

Dva kuvana jaja sitno naseckati i ostaviti na stranu.

U veću činiju umutiti krem sira sa 2 kašike kisele pavlake ili gustog jogurta u smesu dodati pasirani beli luk,rendanu šunku,rendani kačkavalj ( ja sam ga rendala na sitnu stranu ),sitno seckan peršun,so i biber po ukusu,dodati sitno iseckana kuvana jaja i sve to sjediniti.

Odviti rolat i premazati sa pripremljenom smesom i na početku rolata poređati skuvana jaja.Sve ponovo zaviti u rolat i zaviti u alu foliju ili najlon i ostaviti u frižider nekoliko sati da se ukusi sjedine i fil stegne.

Pre služenja ukrasiti po želji, iseće na komade debljine oko 2 cm i poslužiti.

Umesto spanaća možete koristiti zelje,mladu koprivu a verovantno bi mogla i mlada blitva….

Spinach Roulade with cream cheese and ham

Good for lunch or when you have brunch with your family or friends

Rolat od spanaća

Ingredients:

6 XL eggs room temperature

300 g frozen or blanched spinach

120 g flour

1 teaspoon salt

for filling:

250 g soften cream cheese

150 g shredded cooked ham or turkey

2 boiled eggs,chopped

4 cloves minced garlic

2 spoons sour cream

1 spoon finely chopped parsley

100 g shredded Gouda cheese

salt and freshly ground black pepper

and some more:

4 boiled eggs

Directions:

If you use frozen spinach, defrost and squeeze all the water out,first with your hands then use paper towel. Chop it. If you are using fresh spinach bring a large saucepan of water to a boil. Fill a large bowl with ice and water; set aside. Add spinach to boiling water in bunches; cook until bright green and wilted, about 1 minute. Transfer to ice bath to stop cooking. Transfer to colander to drain; squeeze out excess water. Very finely chop spinach; set aside in a bowl. Put it on the side.

Separate egg whites and yolks . Mix egg whites with pinch of salt until they are stiff.Put them on the side.

Beat yolks with salt still mixing with mixer, add slowly  flour and then add spinach.Stir until well combined.Egg whites fold into the spinach mixture.

Coat a baking sheet 23cm X 42cm long with cooking spray or line  with parchment paper.Spread spinach mixture evenly and bake in preheated  oven on 180*C for about 10 to 12 minutes.

Carefully invert onto a kitchen towel-lined work surface; gently remove paper from bottom and roll from shorter side.Let it cool.

Mix cream cheese  with sour cream and add garlic,parsley,shredded  cheese and ham,salt and freshly ground black pepper.Stir in chopped eggs, and gently fold it together.

Unroll and spread over cream cheese mixture. On the edge of a roll put 4 boiled and peeled eggs. Roll it again, wrap it with foil and put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours for flavors to incorporate and cream cheese to harden so you can slice it more easily.

Decorate  which ever way you like it and serve it sliced about 2cm thick slices.

Easy way to boil eggs. Put eggs in a smaller pot fill with water and add teaspoon salt.Bring to a boil,remove from heat,cover it and leave it for 20 minutes.Drain hot water and cover with cold water, let it sit for 5 minutes in cold water and then peel it under running cold water.
